Akuamarin Taşı

Mavi berrak rengi ile huzur veren Akuamarin, kelime anlamı olarak deniz suyu anlamına gelmektedir. Beril grubunun mavi renkli üyesi olan Akuamarin, büyük ve temiz kristal parçaları halinde çıkarılır. Kıymetli taşlardan olup Beril’in şeffaf ve silikatlı bir türüdür. Açık mavi ya da mavimsi yeşil renktedir ve kendisi gibi Beril grubunun bir üyesi olan Zümrüt’e çok benzer. Bu renk, içerdiği eser miktarda demir ve/veya titanyum oksitlerinden kaynaklanır. Saydam olanlar mücevher kalitesinde kabul edilirler. Bu taş, Beril taşının silikat formudur. Bu taş madenlerden büyük kristaller hâlinde çıkarılır.

En fazla Akuamarin taşı çıkarılan yerler şu şekildedir: Rusya, Nijerya, Brezilya, Pakistan, Hindistan. Ülkemizde ise Manisa, Akuamarin taşına ulaşılabilen bölgelerden biridir. Kimyasal Formülü Be3Al2(SiO3)6 olup Sertlik skalasında 7,5 derecesindedir.

It is a precious stone and a transparent and silicate type of Beryl. It is light blue or bluish green in color and is very similar to Emerald, which is also a member of the Beryl group. This color is due to the trace amounts of iron and/or titanium oxides it contains. Transparent ones are considered gem quality. Aquamarine stone, which has been popular since ancient times, is heated in special ovens at 400 degrees to give it a blue color. This stone is the silicate form of Beryl stone. In Aquamarine stone; . The places where the most Aquamarine stones are extracted are as follows: Russia, Nigeria, Brazil, Pakistan, India. In our country, Manisa is one of the regions where Aquamarine stones can be reached. Its chemical formula is Be3Al2(SiO3)6 and it is 7.5 on the hardness scale. It does not break easily.
